This Mobile Application Privacy Policy (“Policy”) describes the types of personal information that APPLICATION (herein referred to as “us”, “we”, “Application”) collects from the user (herein referred to as “you”, “your” and “user”), and specifically:

 

 

This Policy does not apply to the practices of companies not owned or controlled by APPLICATION (including Developers) or to people whom APPLICATION does not employ or manage. Please review this full Policy before using APPLICATION.  By visiting and using APPLICATION, you are accepting the practices described in this Policy.

SECTION 1:  DEFINITIONS

 

Application Settings

Data stored locally on the device you use to access APPLICATION that contains information about your activities on APPLICATION or allows APPLICATION to remember information about you and your activities.

 

Collect Information on your Activity

Information such as your usage data and preferences, browsing history, searches, transactions, and any messages you sent to APPLICATION.

 

Device Identifier

IP address or other unique identifier for any computer, mobile phone, tablet or other device you may use to access APPLICATION. A Device Identifier is a number that is automatically assigned to your device, and our servers identify your device by its Device Identifier. We do not collect, use, or share your hardwarebased Device ID (such as your UDID or IMEI).

 

Usage Information

Information about your use of the App, including the type of device you are using to access the App, the browser and operating system you are using, the search terms or advertisements that referred or otherwise led you to the App, the areas of the App that you access or use, and the time of day you used the App. Usage Information may also include a Device Identifier. We and our Service Providers, including analytics providers, may automatically collect certain “Usage Information” whenever you access and use the App.

 

Your location

Information about your geographic location, such as GPS, WiFibased, networkbased, or user entered.

 

SECTION 2:  INFORMATION WE COLLECT

 

We Collect Information on your Activity as broken down into the following sub-categories:

 

Information You Give Us

We receive and store any information you enter on our Application or give us in any other way.  You provide most such information when you search, buy, post, participate in a contest or questionnaire, or communicate with customer service. For example, you provide information when you search for a product; place an order through APPLICATION or one of our third-party sellers; provide information in your account or your profile with us; communicate with us by phone, e-mail, or otherwise; complete a questionnaire or a contest entry form; use our services; provide and rate Reviews; and employ Product Availability Alerts. As a result of those actions, you might supply us with such information as your name, address, and phone numbers; credit card information; people to whom purchases have been shipped, including addresses and phone number; e-mail addresses of your friends and other people; content of reviews and e-mails to us; personal description and photograph in Your Profile; and financial information, including Social Security and driver's license numbers. 

 

You can choose not to provide certain information, but then you might not be able to take advantage of many of our features. We use the information that you provide for such purposes as responding to your requests, customizing future shopping for you, improving our stores, and communicating with you. 

 

Automatic Information: 

We receive and store certain types of information whenever you interact with us. For example, we may receive information about your location and your mobile device, including a Device Identifier and Application Settings. We may use this information and Your Location to provide you with location-based services, such as advertising, search results, and other personalized content. Most mobile devices provide users with the ability to disable location services. Most likely, these controls are located in the device's settings menu. If you have questions about how to disable your device's location services, we recommend you contact your mobile service carrier or your device manufacturer. 

 

We may also obtain certain types of information such as your login; e-mail address; password; time zone setting; device operating system, and platform; purchase history, which we sometimes aggregate with similar information from other customers to create features like Top Sellers; products you viewed or searched for; and the phone number. We may also collect technical information to help us identify your device for fraud prevention and diagnostic purposes. 

 

Information from Other Sources: 

We might receive information about you from other sources and add it to our account information. Some examples include updated delivery and address information from our carriers or other third parties, which we use to correct our records and deliver your next purchase or communication more easily; and credit history information from credit bureaus, which we use to help prevent and detect fraud and to offer certain credit or financial services to some customers.

 

SECTION 3:  HOW YOUR INFORMATION IS USED

 

The information collected from you is used to provide our team of developers with insight into the functionality of and engagement with Application, including any problems that occur. Such data is used to (i) improve the services, (ii) create analysis of trends or behaviors, and (iii) other similar uses.

Information about our customers is an important part of our business, and we are not in the business of selling it to others. We share customer information only as described below:

 

 

 

SECTION 4:  YOUR CONSENT

By using APPLICATION, you are consenting to our processing of Information We Collect as set forth in this Policy now and as amended by us. "Processing,” means using cookies on your device or using or touching information in any way, including, but not limited to, collecting, storing, deleting, using, combining and disclosing information.  If you reside outside of the United States your information will be transferred to the United States, and processed and stored there under United States Law privacy standards. By using the Application and providing information to us, you consent to such transfer to, and processing in, United States.

 

SECTION 5:  HOW WE PROTECT YOUR INFORMATION

 

We work to protect the security of your information during transmission by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software, which encrypts information you input. We reveal only the last four digits of your credit card numbers when confirming an order. Of course, we transmit the entire credit card number to the appropriate credit card company during order processing. It is important for you to protect against unauthorized access to your password and to your computer. Be sure to sign off when finished using a shared computer or mobile device. 

 

SECTION 6:  YOUR CHOICES

 

You can stop all collection of information by the Application easily by uninstalling the Application. You may use the standard uninstall processes as may be available as part of your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace or network.

 

We give you access to a broad range of information about your account and your interactions with APPLICATION for the limited purpose of viewing and, in certain cases, updating that information. Some examples include up-to-date information regarding recent orders; personally identifiable information (including name, e-mail, password, communications and personalized advertising preferences); payment settings; recommendations; shopping lists; seller accounts; and your profile (including your product reviews, recommendations, personal profile).

 

As discussed above, you can always choose not to provide information, even though it might be needed to make a purchase or to take advantage of such APPLICATION features as Your Profile and Customer Reviews.  If you do not want us to use personal information that we gather to allow third parties to personalize advertisements we display to you, please adjust your Advertising Preferences. 

 

SECTION 7:  CHILDREN

We do not use the Application to knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that his or her child has provided us with information without their consent, he or she should contact us at support@dailyfashionist.com. We will delete such information from our files within a reasonable time.  APPLICATION does not sell products for purchase by children. We sell children's products for purchase by adults. If you are under 18, you may use APPLICATION only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.

 

SECTION 8:  CHANGES IN POLICY

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. We will notify you of any changes to our Privacy Policy by posting the new Privacy Policy in the Application.  You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes.
